Brewed at Hill Farmstead Brewery, this hoppy American wheat ale is fermented with Brettanomyces and dry hopped with our favorite citrusy hops.
The creative spirit of Grassroots Brewing® and the adventurous soul of Mikkeller collaborate for a farmstead interpretation of this recipe.
Some tasting notes as per Draft Magazine:
What it is: A 6%-ABV hoppy wheat beer brewed with Brettanomyces and aged in chardonnay barrels
What it tastes like: Like mimosas will never taste good again. It’s a gorgeous tango of bucolic wheat, hay and grass; bright lemon, yeast and that wheat form a tart trio that pinches the cheeks and gives the beer serious air. Hops add a subtle green note, but serve more to keep all the bouncy brightness at ground level.
