Devils Backbone Tap Takeover

One might say the spark for the idea behind the brewery happened in 1992 with a visit to Cortina, Italy. Founders, Steve and Heidi Crandall were on a ski trip and were introduced to a German beer called Weihenstephan. This first real “craft” beer experience started a trend in the Crandall household, planting the seed that slowly grew into an idea, and then bloomed to become Devils Backbone Brewing Company.

Featured Craft Beers On Tap:

Pear Lager

The Lake v. The Creek

Join us for our first craft beer event of 2018!

We are excited to bring two amazing breweries together for a friendly face off. This is a competition you all get to win!

Great Lakes Brewing Company Two Irish brothers with limited brewing experience. A city that shuttered its last production brewery in the early 80s. A neighborhood in serious need of a facelift. In 1986 when Patrick and Daniel Conway opened their fledgling operation in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, the odds were stacked against them. Fortunately, they surrounded themselves with a staff of passionate, knowledgeable people, and from the start committed themselves to bringing a sophisticated, diverse selection of craft beer to their home state. Two decades, multiple awards, and a whole lot of stories later, Pat and Dan Conway celebrate over two decades of brewing exceptional beer for their adventurous and discerning customers.

Greyhounds play the Tap

We invite you to enjoy an envening of amazing music, tasty beers, good food, and beautiful people. We’re building something special here and hope you’ll join us.

From Austin, Tx to the Tap!!!!

Trube and Farrell first met while living in California, where an L.A. Weekly classified ad brought them together. The connection between the guitarist and keyboard player was instantaneous, and the remarkable magic they conjure together has since earned them widespread attention from critics and peers alike. Derek Trucks raved that "Greyhounds make real music, the right way and for the right reasons," while JJ Grey described their songs as landing "somewhere between a heartfelt hymn and the dirtiest jank you've ever heard in your life," and Gary Clark Jr. summed up a recent LA show by tweeting simply that they "crushed it as usual." Meanwhile, Esquire hailed their debut as "intoxicating [and] gut-wrenchingly lovely," USA Today compared them to "The Meters, Earl Hooker and Buck Owens," and Texas Monthly fell under the spell of their "ringing guitar…bluesy swagger, and all the pain a strained falsetto can convey."

Funkfest / A Farmhouse and Wild Ale Event

Our board will be transformed into a variety of saisons, farmhouse and wild ales, and sours. We will also feature food vendors and three live bands.

Join us as we get into the summer groove...

The Craft Beer Draft List (more to be added)

Saison Dupont from Brasserie Dupont: Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.

Classic Saison from Blackberry Farm: This is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale. The aroma is dominated by fruity esters reminiscent of citrus fruits along with a moderate earthy and floral hop aroma .

Apricot au Poivre Saison from Nebraska Brewing Company: The taste is light, refreshing and nicely fruited to start. Medium mouth-feel. After taking a drink, the black pepper dries the palate and creates a nice tingling sensation on the tongue.

Ouais from Une Année Brewery: American wild ale

Olly from Free Will Brewing Company: A foudre and barrel aged sour brown ale blend of one, two and four year-old vintages. Displaying notes of dark fruit, with malty, caramel undertones and a pleasantly sour finish.

Existent from Stillwater Artisanal: Deep & dark though deceptively dry, braced by a firm yet smooth bitterness and accented with an earthy hop and mild roast aroma.

Classique from Stillwater Artisanal: A postmodern deconstruction of the American industrial lager made with naughty ingredients like corn and rice, completed with pilsner malt and lots of your favorite old-school American hops and farmhouse ale yeast.. "your Grandfather's new beer".

Aristocratic Fantasy from Urban Family Brewing Company: Tart 4-Grain Ale

Imagined History from Urban Family Brewing Company: Wild farmhouse with squash, hay & spices

La Saison d'Epeautre from Brasserie de Blaugies: Made in a unique traditional style, using spelt and barley malt in the mash. Very dry and light in body, with a hint of wheaty tartness and a hardy texture that expresses the character of spelt, a primitive strain of wheat.

Nobel Rouge from Saint Somewhere Brewing Co.: Farmhouse ale brewed with red grapes

Farmhouse Pale Ale from Oxbow Brewing Company: American hops meet saison yeast in this dry, signature ale.

Aprioct Sour from Avery Brewing Company: Bushels of juicy apricots and bright bursts of barrel-aged tartness are seamlessly infused to cultivate this deliciously distinctive and succulent sour ale.

Lynnbrook Raspberry Berliner Weisse from Destihl Brewery: The flavor is absent of any hops or bitterness and instead has initial impression of subtle lemon and yogurt supported by tart, fresh raspberries and underlying lactic sourness. The beer’s dry finish helps cut through some sweetness from the fruit.

Helios from Victory Beer: Heady with an earthy, aromatic hop start, this flavorful ale slides into flavors of honey and mildly tart fruit. Leaving a refreshing citrus and pepper impression of dryness, this is a quenching, invigorating ale, despite its substantial strength.

Saison du BUFF is a collaboration between Dogfish Head, Stone Brewing, and Victory Beer: Brewed with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. The beer is brewed three times, once at each brewery using the same recipe.

Framboise from Une Année Brewery: American Raspberry Wild Ale

Sundance Grapefruit Saison from Lonerider: With a dry wit as crisp and fresh as this Saison of the same name, Sundance exhibits legendary smoothness and taste. This is our spring seasonal Saison, a classic style made with fresh grapefruit.

Fresh Oak Saison from New Belgium Brewing: A rustic, goldenrod yellow saison offering pleasant lemon and white grape aromas and a bright, mouthwatering sourness with a clean, dry finish.

A percussive, complementary acoustic guitar takes a backseat to powerful, soulful vocals in the heartfelt solo-performance of singer/songwriter, Jordan Ramirez.

Deriving inspiration from modern day pop music as well as the vocal-driven solo artists of yesteryear, Jordan's music has been described as "acoustic funk with a hip hop element" capable of "captivat[ing] the room with [a] soulful voice and [an] original guitar style" -- (Matt Mattei, Rolling Stone, Times Leader).

With each successive performance proving to be one-of-a-kind, Jordan has managed to impart his unique style upon all of his music, whether original or covered. Jordan is the founder of Going Up? Studios in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

The Coteries 8p-11p
If the road can teach you anything, it is the difference between what you need and what you don't. Born out of the midst of an 11,000 mile North American road trip, The Coteries bring you Folk Rock music steeped in their travels and the back roads of the American countryside. Just two summers ago the female-fronted trio found their footing behind the wheel of their old VW Bus, Trusty Rusty. Aside for some freezing August nights in the mountains of Wyoming and Montana, it was the best decision of their lives. Since their return, they've played over 200 shows in their inaugural year bolstering their sound with acoustic guitars, mandolin, a stomp box, and harmonicas. They've gone from farmer's markets and corners of bars to playing major festivals like Divide Music Festival and Harmonium Music Fest performing alongside Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Blondie, Cold War Kids, The Fray and Parsonsfield. With a recent endorsement from GoWesty (joining the ranks of artists like Gregory Alan Isakov) they've become traveling ambassadors as they continue their momentum into 2016. On July 29th, 2016 they'll be releasing Reason in the Road, which is a reflection of all they have experienced discovering themselves and the American countryside.

Goose Island Bourbon County Release Party

In 1992, Goose Island gave the beer industry a new reason to belly up to the bar: bourbon-aged beer. We pioneered the process, and it begins with first-use bourbon barrels. Our brewers only choose those that have had held sweet, sweet whiskey in their bellies for an average of 8 years, then they age our beer inside for 8-12 months. This process takes place in a non-climate controlled space, allowing exposure to the extreme heat and cold of Chicago’s ecosystem, which contracts and expands the wood, pulling the barrel’s whiskey character into our brew. Each barrel is used only once, ensuring the best quality taste in every pint.

We will be featuring: 2014, 2015, and 2016 Vintage Reserves

Founders Brewing Company Tap Takeover

Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers both had steady jobs when they decided to chase their dreams and open a brewery–which meant writing a business plan, quitting their jobs, and taking out giant loans. They figured if you’re going to live life, you ought to live it hard, without regrets. The Founders Brewing Co. Family, a group of passionate beer enthusiasts, has grown around this simple philosophy: “We don’t brew beer for the masses. Instead, our beers are crafted for a chosen few, a small cadre of renegades and rebels who enjoy a beer that pushes the limits of what is commonly accepted as taste. In short, we make beer for people like us.”

Breaker Brewing Company Tap Takeover

The idea of Breaker Brewing Company resulted when long time friends, Chris Miller and Mark Lehman, decided it was time to take their interest and appreciation of fine craft beer to the next level. Their intrigue in the complexity of the brewing process coupled with their quest to make a quality product, led to their decision to start creating their own beer.

As to the origin of the name, “Breaker” Brewing Company, it is tied to a time in our not so distant past when the coal breaker was a common sight in the Wyoming Valley and surrounding areas. Mining anthracite coal brought prosperity, fame, and a rich heritage to our little corner of the map, so the name pays tribute to the hard working coal miners who also displayed great determination and strong work ethic to provide for their families, while completing a most dangerous job. It is with pride that the Breaker Brewing Company salutes the men and their families who helped bolster the region’s coal industry. For that, the association of coal mining and Northeast PA is an honor. The Breaker Brewing Company hopes to deliver on their promise to provide the region with a variety of brewings that will be appreciated by those who search for “great craft beers”. We thank you in advance for your support and interest.

New Belgium Tap Takeover

1988. Belgium. Boy on bike. (Ok, make that a young man of 32.) As our aspiring young homebrewer rides his mountain bike with "fat tires" through European villages famous for beer, New Belgium Brewing Company was but a glimmer in his eye. Or basement. For Jeff Lebesch would return to Fort Collins with an imagination full of recipes and a handful of ingredients ready to embark on a whole new journey. Jeff's first two basement-brewed creations? A brown dubbel with earthy undertones named Abbey and a remarkably well-balanced amber he named Fat Tire. To say the rest was history would be to overlook his wife's involvement. Kim Jordan was New Belgium's first bottler, sales rep, distributor, marketer, and financial planner, as well as the company's longtime CEO.

Evil Genius Tap Takeover

We are so excited to host a tap takeover with Evil Genius Beer Company

"We love craft beer. We drink craft beer. And now, we make craft beer. In 2008, our founders Luke Bowen and Trevor Hayward met in an accounting class at Villanova University. Realizing that their job prospects were grim due to the recession, they decided to follow their passion and start their own brewery. Their journey took them first to South Bend, Indiana, then to Cooperstown, New York, and finally to Hartford, Connecticut. This exhaustive search landed them a partner who cared as much about craft beer as Luke and Trevor. Today the amazing team at Thomas Hooker Brewing Company works with our founders to craft the highest quality beers possible." ~ The Evil Genius Team

The Evil Genius Brew Master will be on site to educate on everythig evil!
