We set the scene for an all out PARTY and you take it from there. You may see us on the streets performing from time to time. "Take it to the Street" is something we truely take very literally. Hope to see you at one of our upcoming shows. Thanks for all of your support.

Southern Tier Brewing Company Tap Takeover

Southern Tier Brewing Company of Lakewood, New York, has grown to produce more than 100,000 barrels of beer annually. The hand crafted ales are now available in more than thirty States and points beyond.

Founders Phineas DeMink and Allen “Skip” Yahn started the brewery with the vision of reviving the practice of small batch brewing to a region rich in brewing tradition. In 2002, with equipment gained from the purchase of the Old Saddleback Brewing Co. in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the Southern Tier Brewing Company began production in the Stoneman Business Park just outside of Lakewood, New York. By 2003, select varieties of small batch ales were locally distributed, and by 2005, sales covered the majority of New York State and Pennsylvania. Before launching a successful roster of seasonal beers, the brewery produced Pilsner, Mild Ale, and India Pale Ale.

Southern Tier immediately garnered regional attention and demand for the product quickly outgrew what their modest facility could handle. In 2009 a new 20,000 square foot building was built for the purpose of brewing innovative, high-quality beer to accommodate an expanding customer base. In this new facility, the small brewery was able to grow and offer the product both nationally and internationally, while still satisfying its loyal fans.

A view from high atop fermenter 10 shows our state of the art bottle line. We can now fill around 10,000 bottles an hour.

Steadily growing, throughout 2010 it became clear that more beer needed to be produced to satisfy a growing customer base. 800 barrels of fermentation vessels were added to the production area and a 7500 square foot addition was added for use as a conditioning room. The constantly running brew house has also been expanded and updated from 20 BBL to a 50BBL system. In keeping pace with the expanded brewing capacity, the company replaced its bottling line with the most high-tech, state of the art bottling line of its size in North America. It fills, caps and labels an impressive 10,000 bottles per hour at full speed. Our cellar was expanded to allow for more than 3200 BBL of fermentation space as of late 2011 and then again in 2012 to more than 7200 BBL.

In 2012 our new brewhouse installation began and wrapped up in early 2013. The first liquid began flowing through the 110 barrel Steinecker brewhouse in March of 2013. Built in Germany, we actually assembled the building around the new brewhouse.

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

Buzzard Luck are a York, PA based trio creating their own take on blues rock, with high-energy and a passion for their music. Drew (guitar, vocals, songwriting), Keith (guitar, bass) and Kelly (drums) have been playing together since late 2013, joining after meeting on the vibrant York music scene. Each member brings their own influences to the band, combining blues, rockabilly and folk to create their own sound, Blues n' Roll.

Influenced by both American and British Blues, the band add their own twist to the guitar-driven sound of greats such as Rory Gallagher, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Freddie King, Johnny Winter, Peter Green to name but a few.

Recently laying down several original songs, and some reworked blues standards, Buzzard Luck are big fans of the live, single-track recording method, catching the raw, edgy feel of the vinyl recordings they love. The band comprises young yet seasoned musicians, with a passion and talent for bringing the blues to a modern audience.

Expect a tight, lively performance, combining electric guitar, slide, a rocking bass line, and driving drum line, which come together to create catchy riffs, and the Blues n' Roll sound Buzzard Luck want to share.

The John Byrne Band is led by Dublin native and Philadelphia-based John Byrne. Their debut album, After the Wake, was released to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic in 2011. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Planxty, John’s songwriting honors and expands upon the musical and lyrical traditions of his native and adopted homes. John and the band followed up After the Wake in early 2013 with an album of Celtic and American traditional tunes. The album, Celtic/Folk, pushed the band on to the FolkDJ Charts, reaching number 36 in May 2015. Their third release, another collection of John Byrne originals, entitled “The Immigrant and the Orphan”, was released in Sept 2015. The album, once again, draws heavily on John’s love of Americana and Celtic Folk music and with the support of DJs around the country entered the FolkDJ Charts at number 40. Critics have called it “..a powerful, deeply moving work that will stay with you long after you have heard it” (Michael Tearson-Sing Out); “The Vibe of it (The Immigrant and the Orphan) is, at once, as rough as rock and as elegant as a calm ocean..each song on this album carries an honesty, integrity and quiet passion that will draw you into its world for years to come” (Terry Roland – No Depression); “If any element of Celtic, Americana or Indie-Folk is your thing, then this album is an absolute yes” (Beehive Candy); “It’s a gorgeous, nostalgic record filled with themes of loss, hope, history and lost loves; everything that tugs at your soul and spills your blood and guts…The Immigrant and the Orphan scorches the earth and emerges tough as nails” (Jane Roser – That Music Mag)

The John Byrne Band, however, is as much at home in a traditional session at a corner bar as it is in larger venues/festivals and opening for national acts. John has toured with or opened up for acts as diverse as The Hothouse Flowers, Ian Gillan (of Deep Purple), Patti Smyth, Gaelic Storm, Finbar Furey, Luka Bloom, The Saw Doctors, The Screaming Orphans, Solas and The Greencards. In Fall, 2012, John and the Band performed with The Irish Tenors for the Liberty Medal Presentation at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia before President Bill Clinton and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Goose Island Bourbon County Release Party

In 1992, Goose Island gave the beer industry a new reason to belly up to the bar: bourbon-aged beer. We pioneered the process, and it begins with first-use bourbon barrels. Our brewers only choose those that have had held sweet, sweet whiskey in their bellies for an average of 8 years, then they age our beer inside for 8-12 months. This process takes place in a non-climate controlled space, allowing exposure to the extreme heat and cold of Chicago’s ecosystem, which contracts and expands the wood, pulling the barrel’s whiskey character into our brew. Each barrel is used only once, ensuring the best quality taste in every pint.

We will be featuring: 2014, 2015, and 2016 Vintage Reserves

If the road can teach you anything, it is the difference between what you need and what you don't. Born out of the midst of an 11,000 mile North American road trip, The Coteries bring you Folk Rock music steeped in their travels and the back roads of the American countryside. Just two summers ago the female-fronted trio found their footing behind the wheel of their old VW Bus, Trusty Rusty. Aside for some freezing August nights in the mountains of Wyoming and Montana, it was the best decision of their lives. Since their return, they've played over 200 shows in their inaugural year bolstering their sound with acoustic guitars, mandolin, a stomp box, and harmonicas. They've gone from farmer's markets and corners of bars to playing major festivals like Divide Music Festival and Harmonium Music Fest performing alongside Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Blondie, Cold War Kids, The Fray and Parsonsfield. With a recent endorsement from GoWesty (joining the ranks of artists like Gregory Alan Isakov) they've become traveling ambassadors as they continue their momentum into 2016. On July 29th, 2016 they'll be releasing Reason in the Road, which is a reflection of all they have experienced discovering themselves and the American countryside.

"Informed by oldschool soul, funk, and jazz, The Sermon! is a funky quartet from the borough of West Chester PA. Taking their band name from the classic Jimmy Smith record, The Sermon! is primarily an instrumental, Hammond B-3 organ-driven group influenced by the stylings of Grant Green, Lonnie Smith, James Brown, Soulive, Bill Withers, MMW, and others. Climactic live performances are a staple to the band's high energy stage presence - often accompanied by special guests . The Sermon! has been playing together throughout the north east since their debut performance backing the legendary Papa John Defrancesco in 2005. The band is currently supporting their latest all-original EP, 'Short Hop'. The Sermon! continues to play monthly residencies in the West Chester, Philadelphia, and Wilmington areas. Stay tuned...".

Big Lazy plays the Tap

Join us for an evening of great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

NYC's Instrumental trio Big Lazy dwells in the landscape of gritty yet gracefully crafted American music.
With simple tools - guitar, bass, and drums - the trio creates evocative instrumentals with
a distinctly narrative quality and an undeniable sense of place. Simultaneously noir and pastoral,
gothic and modern, Big Lazy conjures images from big sky country to seedy back rooms with
deftness and a cinematic clarity.

"Big Lazy, the elegantly gritty instrumental trio led by the extraordinary guitarist Stephen Ulrich,
plays stunningly beautiful music that evokes everything from truckers' romps to the haunting
film scores of Bernard Herrmann." - The New Yorker

Founders Brewing Company Tap Takeover

Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers both had steady jobs when they decided to chase their dreams and open a brewery–which meant writing a business plan, quitting their jobs, and taking out giant loans. They figured if you’re going to live life, you ought to live it hard, without regrets. The Founders Brewing Co. Family, a group of passionate beer enthusiasts, has grown around this simple philosophy: “We don’t brew beer for the masses. Instead, our beers are crafted for a chosen few, a small cadre of renegades and rebels who enjoy a beer that pushes the limits of what is commonly accepted as taste. In short, we make beer for people like us.”
