Charles Havira Band plays the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

Following the path he has been on for 20 plus years, Charles Havira has focused on the belief of "live" in the moment performances. Finding his way through the 90's with "Freight Train" and then turning to his vision of song craft by releasing "Holiday" in 2004 then in 2008 with the self titled recording....both recorded at Electric Wilburland, "Dulcet", a live solo performance was released 2012 and before this new year will bring the focus on an electric offering......this one should shake things up a bit. As always, you can count on authentic and soulful sounds when in the presence of CHB....the Charles Havira Band.

Mountain Ride plays the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

Mountain Ride is a Pennsylvania bluegrass band fancying both progressive and traditional facets.  The band is composed of Eric Avey (guitar and vocals), Scott Matlock (fiddle and vocals), Corey Woodcock (banjo), Chance Hurley (mandolin), and Kate Avey (bass and vocals). Mountain Ride was forged in the Great Valley of south-central Pennsylvania, for the simple need to play bluegrass.  For these five friends, bluegrass is a necessity.  Hailing from the new generation of bluegrassers, they tend to bring a unique flair to the traditional, and a progressive twist to the original. Mountain Ride is composed of Eric Avey (guitar and vocals), Scott Matlock (fiddle and vocals), Corey Woodcock (banjo), Chance Hurley (mandolin), and Kate Avey (bass and vocals).  With years of experience under their straps and strings, they have found something new, something that can only be described as Mountain Ride.

Fake Fight plays the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

Fake Fight is an amalgam of musical interests and can perhaps best be classified as harmony-driven Folk-Funk. Combining the unique styles of two singer-songwriters (Michael Stec and Jordan Ramirez), this collaborative project was kicked off when the two friends composed their first song together, "Mood Ring." Over the next few months, Jordan, Mike, and his brother Stephen worked on producing two separate solo albums, one for each solo artist. Instead of embarking on further solo projects, the group came together and added lead guitarist Brendan Brisk to the mix, cementing the lineup. Fake Fight began performing Michael and Jordan's original songs around the Scranton, PA area and began composing new original material and are set to release their first album in the fourth-quarter of 2017.

Greyhounds play the Tap

We invite you to enjoy an envening of amazing music, tasty beers, good food, and beautiful people. We’re building something special here and hope you’ll join us.

From Austin, Tx to the Tap!!!!

Trube and Farrell first met while living in California, where an L.A. Weekly classified ad brought them together. The connection between the guitarist and keyboard player was instantaneous, and the remarkable magic they conjure together has since earned them widespread attention from critics and peers alike. Derek Trucks raved that "Greyhounds make real music, the right way and for the right reasons," while JJ Grey described their songs as landing "somewhere between a heartfelt hymn and the dirtiest jank you've ever heard in your life," and Gary Clark Jr. summed up a recent LA show by tweeting simply that they "crushed it as usual." Meanwhile, Esquire hailed their debut as "intoxicating [and] gut-wrenchingly lovely," USA Today compared them to "The Meters, Earl Hooker and Buck Owens," and Texas Monthly fell under the spell of their "ringing guitar…bluesy swagger, and all the pain a strained falsetto can convey."

Mike MiZ & Brian Clark play the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

MiZ is a soulful, Rock-Americana artist from Northeast Pennsylvania who is known as a skillful and well rounded master of both acoustic and electric guitar. His sound is directly impacted by the coal mining region of PA and the songs evoke the rustic tones and imagery you would expect from the region and it's cultural heritage. The singer / songwriter / guitarist Mike Mizwinski gives name to the band and his solo work and it is his heart and soul-- poured into the words and his guitar-- that drives it all forward. We use the term singer/songwriter loosely here, as a MiZ show can feature fast, intricate instrumental guitar compositions, foot stomping bluegrass, soulful ballads, creative covers, and a melting pot of different styles- textures- flavors- and feels that make up the catalouge (over four albums worth) of self penned songs.

Background Orcs play the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

The four members of Background Orcs combine musical styles and feels from around the globe to deliver a high-energy atmosphere for listeners as well as keep them on their toes with a unique sound that defies normal categorization. While some have attempted to package the Orcs' sound with brands such as "Deep Pocket Immersive Groove" or "Heady Psychedelic Jazz Fusion", one must experience the group first hand to grasp their diverse musical directions. Regardless of genre, constant craftsmanship by all four members has been a hallmark of Background Orcs from the very beginning and has led the group to having a formidable presence in the Northeast music scene, sharing stages with artists such as Bernie Worrell, Dopapod, Consider The Source, The New Mastersounds, Rebirth Brass Band, The Nth Power, and many more. In 2014 the Orcs dropped their first full length album Villains. The creative juices are ever flowing, and with enough material already written to record another full album, the Orcs have set their sights on world domination. Be afraid, the Orcs are coming to a town near you.

He now plays regularly as a sit in with Jah People (roots/reggae), The Phix (hip hop), Spirit World (funk/roots/loops), Butterjive (funk/tribal) as well as heading GD3 (Grateful Dead Tribute) and The Dudini Band (instrumental freaky funk covers) and of course all the while still running his solo loop project.

I Am Buffalo plays the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

I Am Buffalo is a mantra.
.
Mantra (n): a sound or group of words that is considered capable of creating transformation.
.
I Am Buffalo is music. Music for the transformative. Music for the working man. Music to wake you up and put you to sleep. Music that puts you in touch with the floater in the corner of your eye. Music that manipulates and conjugates. Music that hounds and pounds. Music that articulates, defibrillates, and punctuates. Music for the aristocrat and the sewer rat. Music for which you should move.
.
I Am Buffalo is the metaphysical materialization of a four part musical dream:
.
Jon Lastovica - Singer, Songwriter, Guitar, Pianoman
Adam Malak - Bassist, Sound Master, CAD Drafter
Fast Fingers Jer - Electrical string expressionist
James "Lionheart" Naylor - The thump and bum

Goose Island Beer Co. Tap Takeover

Join us for another Goose Island Tap Takeover...yes, the Goose will be loose!

Goose Island's famous beer began with a trip across Europe, when Goose Island founder (and unabashed beer lover) John Hall took a tour across the continent. Pint by pint, he savored the styles and selections of brews in every region, and thought to himself, “America deserves some damn fine beer like this, too.”

That was back in 1988, and we haven’t slowed down since. By 1995, John’s beer had become so popular that he decided to open a larger brewery, along with a bottling plant to keep up with demand. 1999 brought even more growth, along with an additional brewpub, and today, what was once one man’s pint-filled dream has become the Goose Island empire you know and love.

Devil's Backbone Release Party

One might say the spark for the idea behind the brewery happened in 1992 with a visit to Cortina, Italy. Founders, Steve and Heidi Crandall were on a ski trip and were introduced to a German beer called Weihenstephan. This first real “craft” beer experience started a trend in the Crandall household, planting the seed that slowly grew into an idea, and then bloomed to become Devils Backbone Brewing Company.

The John Byrne Band plays the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

The John Byrne Band is led by Dublin native and Philadelphia-based John Byrne. Their debut album, After the Wake, was released to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic in 2011. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Planxty, John’s songwriting honors and expands upon the musical and lyrical traditions of his native and adopted homes. John and the band followed up After the Wake in early 2013 with an album of Celtic and American traditional tunes. The album, Celtic/Folk, pushed the band on to the FolkDJ Charts, reaching number 36 in May 2015. Their third release, another collection of John Byrne originals, entitled “The Immigrant and the Orphan”, was released in Sept 2015. The album, once again, draws heavily on John’s love of Americana and Celtic Folk music and with the support of DJs around the country entered the FolkDJ Charts at number 40. Critics have called it “..a powerful, deeply moving work that will stay with you long after you have heard it” (Michael Tearson-Sing Out); “The Vibe of it (The Immigrant and the Orphan) is, at once, as rough as rock and as elegant as a calm ocean..each song on this album carries an honesty, integrity and quiet passion that will draw you into its world for years to come” (Terry Roland – No Depression); “If any element of Celtic, Americana or Indie-Folk is your thing, then this album is an absolute yes” (Beehive Candy); “It’s a gorgeous, nostalgic record filled with themes of loss, hope, history and lost loves; everything that tugs at your soul and spills your blood and guts…The Immigrant and the Orphan scorches the earth and emerges tough as nails” (Jane Roser – That Music Mag)

The John Byrne Band, however, is as much at home in a traditional session at a corner bar as it is in larger venues/festivals and opening for national acts. John has toured with or opened up for acts as diverse as The Hothouse Flowers, Ian Gillan (of Deep Purple), Patti Smyth, Gaelic Storm, Finbar Furey, Luka Bloom, The Saw Doctors, The Screaming Orphans, Solas and The Greencards. In Fall, 2012, John and the Band performed with The Irish Tenors for the Liberty Medal Presentation at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia before President Bill Clinton and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The Ethan Jano Band plays the Tap

Join us for great music, great beer, and great people. We're doing something special here and want you to be a part of it.

They say that classics never go out of style. The Ethan Jano Band adheres to that school of thought. Lying somewhere between Buddy Holly and Black Sabbath is The EJB- a band made up of four members that pull from their different influences and come together to equal something far greater than their individual parts. The band is firmly rooted in Rock N' Roll and its many styles- but its more than that, this is 2017 not 1977 after all. The music is a melting pot of peculiar yet familiar sounds. This is dirty Rock N' Roll that your conservative Grandpa and your wild teenager can agree on. Calling Somerset, PA their home, The Ethan Jano Band has been cutting there teeth around the east coast of the US for more than a couple years. With two full-lengths under their belts, and plans to release a trilogy of extended plays in 2017, The EJB is no stranger to hardwork, persistence, and perseverance. Combining intimate lyricism, thought provoking instrumentation, and intense live shows The Ethan Jano Band "is never boring, always interesting, and a breathe of fresh air from a voice with finally something worth saying."-The Big Takeover(Cody Conrad)

Funkfest / A Farmhouse and Wild Ale Event

Our board will be transformed into a variety of saisons, farmhouse and wild ales, and sours. We will also feature food vendors and three live bands.

Join us as we get into the summer groove...

The Craft Beer Draft List (more to be added)

Saison Dupont from Brasserie Dupont: Coppery blond, the finest aromas and a strong bitterness transform this beer into a thirst-quenchener with no equal, just the way it was created.

Classic Saison from Blackberry Farm: This is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale. The aroma is dominated by fruity esters reminiscent of citrus fruits along with a moderate earthy and floral hop aroma .

Apricot au Poivre Saison from Nebraska Brewing Company: The taste is light, refreshing and nicely fruited to start. Medium mouth-feel. After taking a drink, the black pepper dries the palate and creates a nice tingling sensation on the tongue.

Ouais from Une Année Brewery: American wild ale

Olly from Free Will Brewing Company: A foudre and barrel aged sour brown ale blend of one, two and four year-old vintages. Displaying notes of dark fruit, with malty, caramel undertones and a pleasantly sour finish.

Existent from Stillwater Artisanal: Deep & dark though deceptively dry, braced by a firm yet smooth bitterness and accented with an earthy hop and mild roast aroma.

Classique from Stillwater Artisanal: A postmodern deconstruction of the American industrial lager made with naughty ingredients like corn and rice, completed with pilsner malt and lots of your favorite old-school American hops and farmhouse ale yeast.. "your Grandfather's new beer".

Aristocratic Fantasy from Urban Family Brewing Company: Tart 4-Grain Ale

Imagined History from Urban Family Brewing Company: Wild farmhouse with squash, hay & spices

La Saison d'Epeautre from Brasserie de Blaugies: Made in a unique traditional style, using spelt and barley malt in the mash. Very dry and light in body, with a hint of wheaty tartness and a hardy texture that expresses the character of spelt, a primitive strain of wheat.

Nobel Rouge from Saint Somewhere Brewing Co.: Farmhouse ale brewed with red grapes

Farmhouse Pale Ale from Oxbow Brewing Company: American hops meet saison yeast in this dry, signature ale.

Aprioct Sour from Avery Brewing Company: Bushels of juicy apricots and bright bursts of barrel-aged tartness are seamlessly infused to cultivate this deliciously distinctive and succulent sour ale.

Lynnbrook Raspberry Berliner Weisse from Destihl Brewery: The flavor is absent of any hops or bitterness and instead has initial impression of subtle lemon and yogurt supported by tart, fresh raspberries and underlying lactic sourness. The beer’s dry finish helps cut through some sweetness from the fruit.

Helios from Victory Beer: Heady with an earthy, aromatic hop start, this flavorful ale slides into flavors of honey and mildly tart fruit. Leaving a refreshing citrus and pepper impression of dryness, this is a quenching, invigorating ale, despite its substantial strength.

Saison du BUFF is a collaboration between Dogfish Head, Stone Brewing, and Victory Beer: Brewed with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. The beer is brewed three times, once at each brewery using the same recipe.

Framboise from Une Année Brewery: American Raspberry Wild Ale

Sundance Grapefruit Saison from Lonerider: With a dry wit as crisp and fresh as this Saison of the same name, Sundance exhibits legendary smoothness and taste. This is our spring seasonal Saison, a classic style made with fresh grapefruit.

Fresh Oak Saison from New Belgium Brewing: A rustic, goldenrod yellow saison offering pleasant lemon and white grape aromas and a bright, mouthwatering sourness with a clean, dry finish.

Born out of the midst of an 11,000 mile North American road trip, The Coteries bring you Folk Rock music steeped in their travels and the back roads of the American countryside. Just two summers ago the female-fronted trio found their footing behind the wheel of their old VW Bus, Trusty Rusty. Aside for some freezing August nights in the mountains of Wyoming and Montana, it was the best decision of their lives. Since their return, they've played over 200 shows in their inaugural year bolstering their sound with acoustic guitars, mandolin, a stomp box, and harmonicas. They've gone from farmer's markets and corners of bars to playing major festivals like Divide Music Festival and Harmonium Music Fest performing alongside Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Blondie, Cold War Kids, The Fray and Parsonsfield. With a recent endorsement from GoWesty (joining the ranks of artists like Gregory Alan Isakov) they've become traveling ambassadors as they continue their momentum into 2016. On July 29th, 2016 they'll be releasing Reason in the Road, which is a reflection of all they have experienced discovering themselves and the American countryside.

Neshaminy Creek Tap Takeover

Join us for a Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company Tap Takeover!!!

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company was founded in 2010 by head brewmaster Jeremy Myers and assistant brewers Rob Jahn and Steve Capelli. It takes its name from the nearby creek of the same name, from which it draws water for its beer. The facility itself, located at 909 Ray Avenue, officially opened on June 1, 2012. In 2013, the Churchville Lager won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival. In 2016, Neshaminy Creek won two bronze medals at the Great American Beer Festival for their Vienna Lager and their smoked beer.

In 2016, Neshaminy Creek announced the opening of a location and tasting room in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
